We are delighted to have recently secured planning consent for a substantial house extension to a 2-storey villa in Glasgow Southside.
The client’s love of traditional building forms and contemporary architecture have been brought together to create a contemporary vernacular that is in keeping with the existing house and the local neighbouring houses.
The new rear wrap-around extension provides an open plan south-facing family space that makes the best of views and site orientation.

House Extension Planning Approval – East Kilbride, Glasgow
Delighted to have achieved planning permission for a full-length rear extension for a single storey family home in East Kilbride after a lengthy design negotiation with planning.
The final design is a simple and modest mono-pitched extension that flows seamlessly from the existing house, creating an open plan kitchen family space half a level down from the main house overlooking the rear garden.

Planning Permission Secured – Substantial House Remodelling & Extension Glasgow Southside Conservation Area
We are excited to announce we have secured Planning Permission for a substantial house remodelling and extension in one of Glasgow Southside’s conservation areas.
The proposal involves forming a new basement level to create additional accommodation needed to meet client’s brief and aspirations while keeping the footprint of the enlarged house within the constraints set by the planning policies.
