The new extension enabled us to create a spacious light-filled open plan family space with expansive views and easy access to the rear garden and a new patio area below the cantilevered roof of the extension through newly installed aluminium bi-fold doors. The extension together with the internal alterations to the existing layout on the ground level of the house allowed us to deliver the additional floor space needed to create more bedrooms and a family home better suited to the needs and aspirations of our client for contemporary living.

Our client was looking to enlarge their small semi-detached house with a very narrow and elongated plot to meet the needs of their growing family and to have a better relationship with their garden.
Our proposal takes advantage of the plot’s shape by designing a deep single-storey extension situated half a level down from the main house to take advantage of the garden.
