Our design solution involves a full-length rear extension with an open-plan layout and large glazed areas, positioned half a level down from the original house. This level change enhances the connection to the rear garden and improves accessibility.
The new extension features a modest mono-pitched open-plan design that seamlessly integrates with the existing house. This open-plan family space includes a new kitchen, dining area, and lounge, all with views of the terrace and rear gardens. Exposed roof rafters add detail and visual interest to the shallow-pitched space, enhancing the overall design.
