NVDC Architects' proposal for this site was a 45-storey mixed-use tower to act as a new visual marker and gateway to the city with the design of the tower itself being informed by the desire to create a single identity for the various distinctive uses contained within the building.

Our proposal aims to bring together and celebrate the urban forces and factors affecting the client’s site by creating a truly iconic and contextual piece of architecture that would not only aim to put Glasgow ‘on the Map’ but also bring legibility and excitement to the city, by re-establishing its reputation as a dynamic and forward-looking place to live, work and invest in, whilst being an attractive and rewarding place to visit.
